Question by : what is the difference between ipad and regular tablet with android?
ipad is $ 600 and 7″ tablet with android 2.3 at frys is $ 100.
Why so much of a difference. Is there somthing that ipad can do and regular tablet cannot?

I don’t know what you mean by ‘regular tablet’, they’re all tablet computers.
As to the difference, buying an iPad locks you in to 1 vendors hardware & supply chain, as you are limited to buying apps & services via Apple, & have to use the OS as is…
Android is Open Source, hence no lock-in, so you can get apps from many different sources, & hack the OS to your specific requirements.
Also, most Android devices have better connectivity than iPads, from what I’ve seen of them in shops. And iPads seem a bit flimsy compared to some Android hardware as well.
Yes, iPad does do something that Android can’t. It can empty your wallet really quickly.
